~James A. Garfield~
In my collections for a very long time, I LOVED the old wood frame, with all its flaws, original glass and obvious age of the bearded old man. Only recently I actually looked at the printing on the picture to discover it is James A. Garfield, in profile. "Photograph by Fassett. Published by J.C. McCurdy & Co. Philadelphia, PA. Engraved by Rice & Sons, Phila." The old wood frame is 10x12x2" deep. The original glass has the bubbles of age. Mostly brown original wood finish, with trim of now aged gold. The back is the original wood to hold the picture in.
$75+SH and insurance.
