High Button Shoe

June

..........RhettaMae always tells me I cannot write a short newsletter, but this one will be.  Today is a very busy day!
Just wanted to clear up any confusion about the note yesterday for the 7 day course on primitives that I am a part of.  If you didn't understand my direction on our website to find the link (found on the bottom of the homepage in the banner with the old house and a black right panel that changes but says 7 day primitive course... just above the words in red that says this is a new artist....)  follow this link which is what I should have given you in the first place, but in my caffeine deprived state, and having spent the afternoon in both Walmart AND Meijer trying to find a new gadget to water my flower gardens with... IN THE RAIN....... shopping is always SUCH fun anyway..the rain only adds to the insult.
follow this, if you haven't already registered..
http://www.kraftybag.com/  and it should take you to the registration page.  It is free!  but you must register!
Yesterdays 1st lesson was lovely.  And todays is equally so.  This is a fun place to visit. Follow the other links given to find great websites to visit. All showing primitive/country homes and websites.

Today, www.rantingraven.com also releases its June issue. We can be found at

It will probably be noon or later before the new things are up. We are showing a black doll, strawberry makedo, and a ugly shelf sitter Esby Scholes, one cousin removed from the Germfask cousins. New things are in the works but not finished! I am working on orders, AND getting ready for the garage sale on  JUNE 23 & 24! here at the farm. Details are found on the website www.highbuttonshoe.net  on the calendar of events.

Life is very busy here on the farm, as I am sure your home is too. Grass needs mowing every 3 days (I LOVE THAT, as I love mowing!), the gardens need tending each day, and I am still planting things inspite of the big blister on my right hand palm, the 100+ peat pots full of gourd seedlings are ready to plant, and I am already drying corn in the husks and the antique grass that will be ready in the following weeks for your fall decorating. IF the weather cooperates and we get hot sun, without so much humidity AND a few days of no rain. I realize I will regret the comment on no rain, as soon it will stop and everything will burn up. Mother Nature and me are never on the same page!
Enjoy your early June! I LOVE this month, with all the deep plush green that surrounds me and the growing herbs and perennials. It is extremely busy, but I remind myself each day to really look at my surroundings and am so grateful for each day. I share this passion of nature with Miss Elspeth ( www.pineberrylane.com)  and know when I am gazing out over the vast lawns of green, and the herbs growing by inches before my very eyes, that Miss Els is doing the same. I still take the time to sit on the porch with steaming coffee cup and just enjoy what is in front of me. I LOVE this farm!
Thanks for asking to be a part of the farm.
You can, of course, UNsubscribe at any time.  Just email me with unsubscribe newsletter and it will be done.
in fond regard,
